TeamNL House: 5 Things We Know So Far

On July 26, with one year to go until Paris 2024, the Dutch Olympic Committee (often denoted as NOC*NSF) announced details about TeamNL House, previously called Holland Heineken House, at the upcoming Summer Olympic Games.

What We Know: Location

TeamNL House will be located in Parc de la Villette in northern Paris, in the 19th arrondissement. It's the 3rd-largest park in the city, totalling a whopping 55.5 hectares - and is quickly becoming the host to many of the Olympic Games' most popular hospitality houses.

As of now, the following hospitality houses will be located in Parc de la Villette: Casa Brasil, Club France, Pride House and Slovenia House. It has also been rumoured that Canada House will be located in this same area.

What We Know: It's Public

The organizers of TeamNL House have confirmed that the house will be open to the public. It has also been noted that children will also be welcome, although the NOC*NSF notes that the venue will be loud in the evenings.

It appears that TeamNL House will follow a similar format to past Olympic Games, where tickets will be sold in advance due to exceptionally high demand. Ticket prices have yet to be announced. Organizers note that:

"Ticket sales for the TeamNL House during the Olympic Games will start after the summer holidays. Our advice is to buy a ticket in advance to make sure you can enter on the day you want. If there are still available tickets on the day, they will go on sale online."

What We Know: It's a Olympic and Paralympic Venue

TeamNL has confirmed that their hospitality house will be open for both the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. Exact opening dates and hours have yet to be announced.

What We Know: Nearby Sport Events

The closest Paris 2024 sport events to TeamNL House will be:

• Badminton and Rhythmic Gymnastics at La Chapelle Arena

• Artistic Swimming, Diving and Water Polo at at Centre Aquatique Olympique

• Athletics and Rugby at Stade de France

All of these venues are within 40 minutes of TeamNL House on public transit.

What We Know: Volunteer Positions Opening in January
